Fredricks's troubles and adventures are long behind him as he enjoys a well-deserved retirement. Nearly as old as Ubhar Longbeard he has proven himself to be just as wise by leaving the guiding of the younger dwarves to his elder.

Instead, he spends his days tending flowers for his beloved wife Patricina and keeping his front path the tidiest in town. His sole source of strife is BooBoo a terrible and swift dog that Patricina adores which will nip at his ankles if it catches him without his broom to fend it off.
