Skud is a salt of the earth easy-going kind of dwarf, but he is burdened by a formal education, having gone away as a short bearded youth to study the healing arts. Having long since returned, he has cared for the health of Overstone for many years and while his thoughts on the constant feasting and drinking did spark a lively debate in the town, his ability to heal the odd wound dwarves suffer in their misadventures means he is well respected and not often required to buy his own drinks.
