Life has not been entirely kind to Stumpy. But with its many hard battles and long winters now behind him, he has committed to enjoying the rest of his days in peace. To that end, he took up sensible, healthy pursuits, mastering them one after the other to fill his days; beekeeping, woodcarving, and knitting all posed no challenge to the hardy dwarf.
It was only when he tried his hand at fishing that he encountered a small snag in the form of a twenty-foot tall cyclopean beaver that wanted nothing more than to eat his legs. Unyielding in his commitment to a relaxing pastime, Stumpy has been tirelessly fishing every pond and waterway for twenty miles surrounding the Hammer and Crown in a state of constant alert for his nemesis. He is going to relax, no matter what.
